Since 2002, I have been advising companies in the field of antitrust law. I regularly support clients in interpreting and addressing practical issues related to competition rules, as well as in implementing tailored antitrust compliance programmes.
I have advised companies during antitrust inspections and in European, national and regional administrative proceedings concerning restrictive agreements — including cartels — abuses of dominant position, and matters related to mergers and investment control. I also have significant experience advising on State aid (including the Foreign Subsidies Regulation) and internal market law.
In addition, I have represented clients before the Spanish civil courts in competition-related cases, both in damages claims and unfair competition matters.
I am a regular contributor to universities and higher education institutions and the author of numerous publications on competition law in specialised media. I also serve as Secretary and member of the Board of Directors of the Spanish Association for the Defence of Competition (Asociación Española de Defensa de la Competencia).
