Andres is a litigation lawyer in Fieldfisher's Litigation and Dispute Resolution department in Madrid, where he provides expert legal advice to multinational companies, SMEs, funds and individuals, and manages legal teams with full autonomy.
He has extensive experience in pre-litigation consultancy and, in particular, in the management of legal proceedings, from negotiation and out-of-court settlements, claims and pleadings, representation before a court or chamber and the filing of all types of appeals, to the enforcement of court decisions. He specialises in litigation and defence, providing legal assistance at all levels of court as a practising lawyer in all types of complex cases, mainly in civil and commercial matters. In addition, he is familiar with the international and European instruments applicable to the subject, having been involved in many cross-border proceedings.
His practice as a trial lawyer focuses primarily on representation in complex and challenging civil and commercial matters, as well as criminal expertise in white-collar crime: civil and commercial contracts, civil liability and tort actions (extra-contractual), corporate litigation: challenging resolutions of GSM/BOD and directors' liability actions, representations and warranties claims and M&A transaction disputes, real estate and construction, insolvency proceedings, banking and finance, insurance, IT/IP, competition, complex inheritance disputes, fundamental rights, etc.
