Prior to joining Fieldfisher, I acted as a trade lawyer and negotiator for the UK Government's Department for Business and Trade, advising on the negotiation of the UK's ambitious Free Trade Agreement agenda, the development of an independent UK trade policy and the UK’s WTO membership strategy outside of the EU.

I have also managed high profile, politically sensitive UK Government public law litigation involving senior officials, cross-Whitehall stakeholders and devolved administrations on matters including the handling of EU-Exit and COVID-19.

I have developed a detailed knowledge and understanding of State and non-State actors through legal, policy, research and operational positions in government, foreign diplomatic missions, think tanks and international organisations in Europe, Australia and Asia.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in International Relations)/Bachelor of Laws (Honours) double degree from the University of Queensland, Australia and Master of Laws (Public International Law) from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
