Professional background

My experience includes advising Chairs, Core Participants and witnesses involved in large-scale and complex public inquiries and non-statutory investigations. I have acted on several high-profile and sensitive investigations in recent years, including the Omagh Bombing Inquiry, the Independent Inquiry into the issues raised by the David Fuller case, the UK Covid-19 Inquiry, the Brook House Inquiry and the Daniel Morgan Independent Panel. I have extensive experience at all stages of an inquiry process, including initial engagement with core participants, reviewing witness statements and managing disclosure, planning and running public hearings and preparing the final inquiry report, including the "warning letter" process.

I have also advised corporate and individual clients involved as either Core Participants or witnesses in the Grenfell Tower Inquiry and the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry, including responding to witness statement requests, attending to give oral evidence and the "warning letter" process.
