Over the course of my thirty-year professional career, I have worked as a lawyer specialising in advising companies and supporting their business activities both nationally and internationally.
I have extensive experience in the negotiation and drafting of partnership agreements — from simple joint venture arrangements to commercial agreements for mergers and acquisitions — as well as in assisting with the creation of subsidiary companies in different jurisdictions. I have also developed my practice in the area of dispute prevention and the resolution of conflicts arising from such agreements.
Over the years, I have dedicated part of my professional work to monitoring and resolving disputes between commercial and corporate partners and with third parties, representing clients in national and transnational disputes before Spanish courts and in ADR proceedings before international arbitration institutions.
My experience has also allowed me to provide legal assistance in the negotiation and drafting of contracts in the engineering and construction sectors, as well as in complex hotel sector and real estate development transactions.
I am currently a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), specifically on the International Sales, Trade, Franchising and Product Law Committee, and of the Construction Law Committee of the International Business Law Consortium (IBLC). I am also a member of the Associazione Internazionale Giuristi di Lingua Italiana (AIGLI).
Additionally, I am a member of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers (IATL), a group of elite lawyers from more than thirty countries, comprising both prosecutors and defence lawyers who advise on criminal matters and civil proceedings. I am also a member of the Catalan Association of Experts in Inheritance Law, a subject on which I lecture and give presentations at specialised courses and seminars for lawyers at the Barcelona Bar Association.
