With a bachelor's and master's degree in law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra, I completed my academic career with a master's thesis on corporate groups, entitled “A Responsabilidade por Dívidas no Domínio Total” (“Liability for Debts in the Total Domain”), which was awarded an honourable mention in the 2015 IAB prize and published in 2016 by Almedina Publisher in the “Colecção de Estudos Instituto do Conhecimento AB, N.º 5”.
After completing a two-year legal internship at a multidisciplinary law firm, I became a lawyer in 2016, practising individually for about nine years in a wide range of areas of law, mainly in civil, commercial, corporate, labour, criminal and administrative offence law, but also in banking law, enforcement and insolvency law, Family and Succession Law, Administrative and Tax Law, and Real Estate Law. During this period, I gained extensive experience and autonomy in all these areas and specialised in civil, corporate, and criminal litigation, dedicating myself for many years to complex cases, including private enforcement actions related to anti-competitive practices. Currently, I focus my activity on the resolution of civil, commercial and criminal disputes, as part of the Litigation and Arbitration Department at Fieldfisher Portugal.
