Professional background

I work in the field of corporate law and intellectual property, with a particular focus on the technology sector and the enhancement of companies' intangible assets. I assist Italian and international clients in defining highly innovative legal strategies, supporting them both in the management of IP rights and in the structuring and governance of their companies.

I deal with patents, trademarks, designs, trade secrets, software, AI, copyright and unfair competition, assisting clients in litigation — before national and European courts — and in out-of-court proceedings, which include:

  • definition of strategies for the protection, management and enhancement of intangible and technological assets;
  • technology transfer operations and evaluation of related IP rights;
  • filing and management of trademarks and other intellectual property rights;
  • drafting of opinions and contracts in the field of IP, tech and corporate law;
  • due diligence activities in M&A and venture capital contexts.

I have gained specific expertise in the following areas:

  • M&A and venture capital, with particular experience in assisting start-ups and scale-ups in investment, growth and divestment transactions;
  • Corporate governance and corporate compliance;
  • Innovative start-ups, from incorporation to development, through to financing rounds and extraordinary transactions;
  • Artificial intelligence and tech law, with advice on development models, data management, technology licensing, liability and regulatory compliance.

I adopt a pragmatic and business-oriented approach, with the aim of providing clients with concrete, effective legal solutions that are fully aligned with their development and innovation strategies.

Trade secrets. Why the Data Act is changing the rules of the game

11.12.2025
The Data Act (EU Regulation 2023/2854) marks a turning point for the European data economy: for the first time, users of connected products have an effective right to access the data generated by their use of the device and to share it with third parties. This is a profound change in perspective, because it rebalances relationships that have hitherto been dominated by manufacturers, who retained most of the informational value generated by their products.
