Our partner Manuel Alonso has been invited to speak about the vulnerabilities which permit confidential data to be disclosed. This matter is very important for IAMERS' members, who are are committed to protecting patient healthcare data which may be resident on the diagnostic imaging machines which are de-installed, serviced or sold to hospitals and other health care providers.
The program of the Annual European Meeting will also include interesting sessions that let IAMERS' members analyze issues of relevance such as the so-called Rohs Directive. On March 31, 2015, the European Commission announced it was amending Annex II to Directive 2011/65/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the list of restricted substances. This directive change was ostensibly to resolve or avoid inconsistencies with REACH and the classification of substances.
