European law firm, Fieldfisher's private client practice, which specialises in advising clients internationally on wealth management matters, has been featured in the revered Chambers and Partner's High Net Worth guide rankings.
We're pleased to announce that Fieldfisher's Private Client Practice has been recognised by Chambers and Partners' High Net Worth guide, a first for the firm.
After a rejuvenation of the team, which saw Fieldfisher bring in private client heavyweight, Peter Golden, from magic circle firm, Linklaters, to head up the private client practice last September, this recognition from Chambers is an excellent achievement.
Peter has established a leading reputation for his expertise in wills and trusts, with a particular geographical focus on the Middle East. Peter was accompanied in his move from Linklaters by rising star Alistair Robertson, as a partner in his team. Alistair advises international individuals, families, trustees, family offices and private banks on succession planning, personal taxation and trust law and has a particular focus on UHNW clients in the Far East.
Chambers HNW stated that Peter 'has particular experience advising on cross-border matters', with a client commenting "What sets Peter apart from his contemporaries is his ability to explain complex legal and tax implications in a manner that is easy to understand," comments one wealth insider, while another interviewee says: "He has very, very good client-handling skills."
Alistair and partner Penny Wotton, another member of Fieldfisher's private client team, were also named as notable practitioners.
