Fieldfisher is delighted to announce the appointment of Sarah Tedstone as a partner in its technology and data practice.
Sarah joins from Shoosmiths, where she specialised in privacy, data protection and cyber security in the UK and internationally.
As part of her broad privacy practice, Sarah has particular experience of working with life sciences and medtech clients, as well as public bodies, charities and pensions.
Her clients tend to be large, often global, organisations attracting regulatory scrutiny in need of specialist privacy advice.
At Fieldfisher, Sarah will focus on growing her life sciences and medtech practice, which is a high-risk area of privacy law with potential for significant growth in view of plans for the UK and other jurisdictions to commercialise health data, and the post-pandemic removal of barriers to the development of new technology-enabled health and life sciences solutions.
She will also build on her experience of working on Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and large general global compliance projects, and advising pension schemes, trustees and charities.
Sarah will be joining Fieldfisher's market leading data privacy team within the firm's technology and data group, Co-Headed by partners Hazel Grant and Simon Briskman.
