Fieldfisher's Capital Markets team acted as legal counsel in the context of a capital increase carried out by Kerlink with the cancellation of shareholders' preferential subscription rights, in favor of a category of beneficiaries. Given the strong demand, the final amount of the capital increase carried out via the accelerated construction of an order book, amounted to 11 million euros, as compared to approximately 8 million euros initially forecast.

Kerlink, founded in 2004 and listed on Euronext Growth Paris, is a leading global provider of connectivity solutions for the design, launch and operation of public and private networks dedicated to the Internet of Things (IoT) for telecom operators, enterprises and public authorities worldwide.

The funds raised will allow Kerlink to (i) accelerate the development of a new range of connectivity equipment 100% compatible with the specifications of the US company Helium, which could take place as early as the fourth quarter of 2021 (the deployment of the global IoT network "The People's Network" launched by Helium, will offer public long-range low energy consumption wireless coverage); (ii) secure purchases of electronic components considered as strategic in a global context of strong pressure on lead times; and (iii) accelerate the deployment of the NaaS (Network as a Service) offer integrating both leased infrastructure equipment and network administration services.

Samuel Pallotto, Head of the of the Fieldfisher Paris Securities and Capital Markets department, comments: "We are delighted to have been able to act alongside Kerlink and we thank them for their renewed confidence as we have been assisting them since their IPO in 2016. This transaction confirms once again the strength of our Capital Markets activity and our ability to work with leading companies in the new technologies sector and more specifically in the very high potential market that the Internet of Things already represents".

Fieldfisher's team consisted of Samuel Pallotto, partner and Mathilde Ghez, associate.

Other participants: Sponsor Finance (listing sponsor), TP ICAP Europe (lead manager & bookrunner), Actifin (financial communication).
