I support corporate clients across a variety of sectors with all types of Sponsor Licence matters. This includes initial Sponsor Licence applications and renewals. Working with HR departments to keep them informed of relevant Right to Work guidance, reporting, and monitoring duties. I actively engage in providing bespoke training to my clients.

My busy practice includes advising on a range of private client matters, where I advise on family immigration, indefinite leave to remain, ancestry, citizenship and passport applications, as well as EU and complex immigration work. I am experienced in assisting with applications from high-net-worth and ultra-high net worth individuals and new applications following an earlier refusal. I work closely with my employment and tax colleagues to provide integrated advice and I help to coordinate global immigration projects.

Before joining Fieldfisher, I worked as an Immigration Solicitor for a Legal 500-ranked boutique immigration law firm and on corporate accounts for one of the Big Four. I was named a Legal 500 "Key Lawyer" for Immigration when I worked at Dentons LLP in 2022. I have experience of working in-house and use this experience to train clients on the risk of non-compliance with sponsor duties.

I changed career having previously worked as print journalist and multimedia editor for a regional newspaper group. My first degree was in Linguistics and Phonetics BA at University College London, followed by the LLB for Graduates at the University of Birmingham. I completed the Legal Practice Course at De Montfort University before qualifying as a solicitor.
