I have worked on a number of intellectual property cases in the High Court (UK) and the Federal Court (Australia) and have acted for a wide range of clients in the social media, technology, agriculture and fast moving consumer goods sectors.

While my experience is broad, I have developed a specialisation in copyright and have worked on infringement cases related to computer software, including a case involving the highest award for additional damages in Australia. I am particularly interested in the convergence of copyright law and artificial intelligence, and keenly follow copyright reform proposals aimed at keeping pace with advancements in this field. In addition to copyright, I have handled various trade mark prosecution and litigation cases for clients across diverse industries.

Prior to joining Fieldfisher, I worked for five years in a “Tier 1” intellectual property practice at a leading international law firm in Sydney. I have also worked as a Judge’s Associate in the Supreme Court of South Australia and have a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Adelaide (Hons Class I, University Medal).

I am currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice at the University of Oxford.
