My practice relates to EU product regulation and environmental law matters, with an emphasis on general chemicals and biocides. I regularly advise on product compliance issues, and am involved in task force management, contentious work before the European Courts, strategic advocacy, and complex data sharing arrangements. I have particular experience advising companies across a broad range of sectors on the impact of the Water Framework Directive.
Prior to joining Fieldfisher, I trained in one of Ireland's leading commercial law firms where I assisted well-known multinational and Irish companies on EU regulatory and competition law matters, as well as contentious litigation and investigations. I acquired particular experience in the life sciences sector (medical devices and pharma), working on both product liability cases and large-scale corporate transactions.
I also worked for a Brussels-based law firm and completed a traineeship in the Cabinet of Vice-President of the European Commission, Frans Timmermans, in the areas of sustainability and the circular economy.
I hold a First Class Honours Bachelor Degree of Civil Law from University College Dublin and a Master in European Law from the College of Europe, Bruges.
I am a native English speaker with a good knowledge of French.
