Fieldfisher advises KGAL on an acquisition of an onshore wind farm in Finland from ABO Wind

Fieldfisher team led by Munich-based partner Daniel Marhewka has advised KGAL Investment Management GmbH & Co KG (KGAL) on the acquisition of Silovuori, an onshore wind farm in Finland.

Fieldfisher has advised KGAL Investment Management GmbH & Co KG (KGAL) on the acquisition of Silovuori, an onshore wind farm in Finland.

The wind farm, which is located in the municipality of Pyhäjoki, Northern Ostrobothnia, has a total capacity of 26.4 MW. It was developed by the sellers, ABO Wind, and will comprise eight V126-3.3 MW Vesta wind turbine generators operating at a hub height of 140.2 metres upon completion, which is scheduled for this year.

Fieldfisher cooperated with the Finnish law firm Hammarström Puhakka Partners which advised especially on the due diligence of the project and on the Finnish law aspects. The financing for the project was provided by HSH Nordbank AG.

The Fieldfisher team was led by Munich-based energy partner Daniel Marhewka, supported by Düsseldorf-based finance partner Dr. Patrick Halfpap MLE., LL.M. and energy senior associate JUDr. Zuzana Meinecke Fábry, LL.M.Eur.
