The deal, announced on 6 December, is the third UK acquisition by PA in the last 12 months, with Fieldfisher advising PA on all of its UK deals.
Friday joins PA’s world-class innovation team, enhancing its existing expertise in digital service design, modern engineering and digital transformation.
Friday works with leading global organisations, helping them to re-imagine and design their customer experience, improve the technology that powers their organisation and develop the capability to better manage their technology themselves.
Clients include Aetna, Nuffield Health, Jackson Hewitt, TalkTalk and the British Red Cross.
Prior to Friday, Fieldfisher advised PA on its acquisition of Sparkler, a digital customer insight and strategy consultancy, in May 2018 and Nyras Limited, a specialist aviation consultancy, in December 2017.
2018 has been an extremely active and successful year for Fieldfisher's UK corporate team, whose expertise across its London, Manchester and Birmingham offices covers the firm's flagship Technology, Finance, Energy and Natural Resources and Life Sciences sector groups as well as a strong presence in the media sector.
The Fieldfisher team advising PA was led by corporate partner, Carlton Durrant, with support from corporate solicitor David Hill and tax specialists Andrew Loan and Mark Gearing. Lewis Silkin advised the sellers of Friday.
