Fieldfisher School Leavers' Step2Success programme welcomes first recruits.

Fieldfisher's Step2Success programme, which offers post A-Level students a pathway into a legal career with the firm, has taken on its inaugural intake of recruits. The first five students to join the firm under the scheme are:

  • Jamie Green
  • Damilola Muyi-Opaleye
  • Tobi Bello
  • Frankie Smith
  • Kieran Bennett

The school leavers will undertake a bespoke programme of induction into the firm. They will receive supervision, training and support in the office, including in house tutorials, as well as through their studies. They will commence their CILEx Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law and Practice shortly after starting work.

The programme provides students without a degree with the opportunity to embark on a career in the law. Chosen school leavers can qualify as lawyers through the Chartered Legal Executive route within five years of commencing the programme.

The five students will start the programme on Monday 30th September.

Fieldfisher Managing PartnerĀ Michael ChissickĀ said: "The Step2Success programme provides students with an alternative career path into the legal industry, at a time when the cost of university is precluding many from following the traditional path. It also benefits us as a firm, ensuring that we don't miss out on bright, talented individuals who might otherwise choose another career. We are delighted to be welcoming Jamie, Damilola, Tobi, Frankie and Kieran to the firm and wish them every success."
