European Law Firm Fieldfisher has hired highly accredited data privacy partner Judy Krieg.
Judy was a partner in the Regulation and Markets Division at Shepherd and Wedderburn from January 2016, after leading the compliance teams at Rolls Royce plc and Willis Group Holdings. Judy's specialist sectors include financial crime, compliance, governance and financial regulation. Judy has dual US and UK qualifications, and is admitted in England and Wales, New York and Colorado (Inactive).
Judy will be assisting Phil Lee in the Privacy, Security and Information law group and working closely with Tony Lewis and the Corporate Crime Group.
Judy attended Northwestern University Law School in Chicago, Illinois and has worked at the Financial Services Authority, Microsoft Limited and Rolls Royce. Judy is a frequent speaker and thought leader in her field and was recently shortlisted for the "Mentor of the Year Award for the Advancement of Women in Compliance" at the Women in Compliance Awards by C5 which specialises in the creation and delivery of business critical conferences.
Judy was one of 100 worldwide featured in "Women in Investigations" in the Global Investigations Review in May 2015 and is a UK Country Chair at the Defence Research Institute.
