Most of my 20-year career has been spent in the public sector, first in decision support in government advisory services and then as a member of the Portuguese Government, first as Secretary of State for Education and then Secretary of State for Public Administration.
I led the last major reforms of Portuguese public administration services and organisations and Portuguese public employment systems.
I regularly speak at conferences, give training and have published articles on public services governance and civil servant’s careers.
