I specialise in trade mark and brand protection law and have over twelve years of multi-national experience in this field.

I advise a wide range of local and international clients in relation to all aspects of brand protection including portfolio management, trade mark clearance searches, registrability issues, prosecution of trade mark applications, assignments, co-existence negotiations, oppositions and revocation and invalidity actions.

My clients are household names across a range of industries including aviation, finance, energy and resources, fashion, media and entertainment, and for manufacturers of consumer products.

As a dual qualified solicitor, admitted in England and Wales and Australia, I have multi-national experience and regularly handle trade mark matters before the UK, EUTM, Australian and New Zealand Trade Mark Registries. I am an expert on trade mark law and practice in these territories.

I have a particular passion for advising brands in the fashion retail industry. I manage the global trade mark portfolios for a number of clients in this sector, from high street chains to luxury brands.

I have a wealth of experience in the hotels and leisure sector, having advised on the global re-brands for two international airlines.

My experience in the technology, media and communications sector includes representing one of the world's biggest brands in relation to protection and enforcement of its rights in the UK and Europe.

I am a member of INTA.

I have been named as a "Rising Star" by Managing Intellectual Property's IP Stars Directory since 2016.

In addition to contributing to the Fieldfisher SnIPpets Blog, my articles and essays have appeared in a number of professional publications, including Intellectual Property Forum, Intellectual Property Law Bulletin, World Trademark Review Daily and Managing IP.

I regularly present on trade mark topics at internal and external events.

I have an A-Level in German.

In my spare time I enjoy travelling, horse riding and participating in medium distance running events.
