I am specialist in the area of privacy and information law and provide strategic and practical advice on the full range of data protection issues affecting business operations.
I have particular expertise in the area of data sharing, international data warehousing arrangements, e-marketing and the privacy compliance issues affecting new technologies and projects.
I have provided advice to a wide range of businesses across the retail, premiership football, telecommunications, construction, media and financial services sectors.
I have completed a number of successful secondments including for a global financial services group where I worked as part of a team to update internal audit controls concerning data security. I also spent time on secondment with a major retail group and a well-known media brand advising on data protection and security matters.
I have spoken on data protection and privacy issues in the UK and abroad and provided specialist training in this field. In addition to my data protection expertise, I also hold a Diploma in Intellectual Property Law from Nottingham University.
In my spare time, I enjoy swimming and water-sports and improving my German (conversational) and Italian (conversational) language skills.
