I am a European technology and privacy lawyer at Fieldfisher and am an attorney admitted to the bar in New York, the District of Columbia (DC) and the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS). I regularly publish articles on technology law and am frequently invited to speak at numerous conferences across the United States, Europe and Asia.

I advise on all aspects of privacy and data protection related matters as well as transactional work with a technology component. For example, I have advised on GDPR compliance, international data transfers, cloud computing & big data, global data management, privacy aspects relating to commercial transactions (including in a M&A context), as well as various e-commerce related matters.

Before joining Fieldfisher, I was Vice President and senior legal counsel at a leading international investment bank: I was based at the bank's headquarters in Zurich (Switzerland) and I also worked at the bank's Hong Kong office. As in-house senior legal counsel, I advised the bank on various matters, including its global compliance program, cross-border matters, the bank's digital transformation initiatives and the launch of new online services and products. Before that, I worked on technology transactions at large international law firms in London (United Kingdom) and Luxembourg as a transactional and corporate lawyer.

I have received a number of awards, including the Association of Corporate Counsel’s “Top 10 30-Somethings” award, the "ACC Advocacy Award", as well as the Transatlantic General Counsel of the Year award at The American Lawyer’s Transatlantic Legal Awards. I was named a "Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Trailblazer" by the National Law Journal and an "Innovative Corporate Counsel" by Law 360. I was also recognized as a leading lawyer in The Legal 500’s GC Powerlist.

I am a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and am a Certified Information Privacy Professional, with concentrations in Asian law (CIPP/A), US law (CIPP/US), European law (CIPP/E) and Canadian law (CIPP/C). I am also a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and a Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT).
