Fieldfisher announces 16th Manchester partner
Fieldfisher's Manchester office has promoted Donall Caherty to partner, making him the third new partner at the firm in the past three months.
The firm was the fastest growing UK law firm last year according to Legal Business and is expanding rapidly in Manchester. It took over another floor of the FreeTrade Exchange building in November to accommodate its increasing size. This growth is showing no signs of slowing down and Fieldfisher has confirmed that it will be making a number of new associate hires, demonstrating expansion across the board.
Donall works in the Dispute Resolution team in Manchester and deals with a broad range of commercial disputes, both defending and pursuing claims from a contentious perspective and advising clients of strategic risk.
His varied caseload includes resolving disputes involving shareholders, partnerships, director's duties, professional negligence and reputation protection. His expertise also includes obtaining and defending urgent freezing injunctions.
Donall has an excellent track record of obtaining outstanding results for a variety of clients from large Corporates to SMEs and works across a range of sectors including Financial Services, Media, Technology and Renewable Energy.
Donall says: "This is a very exciting time for me personally and it's a huge privilege to take a step up in a top class firm like Fieldfisher'.
Ian Austin, Managing Partner of the Manchester office comments:
"Donall has played a fundamental role in the firm's continuing growth and success and his promotion to partner is a reflection of his dedication to Fieldfisher and the work we do. His hard work extends to both our clients and the people that work here, and since joining in 2012 he has been at the forefront of driving opportunities for the firm with a positive and solutions driven attitude. I have no doubt that he will be a fantastic addition to our existing team of partners of whom we now boast sixteen.
