Bridget Collier and Shaheen Mosquera from Fieldfisher's specialist asbestos team enjoyed Mesothelioma UK's Ladies Lunch at the Manchester Macdonald Hotel held on International Women's Day
The event was about coming together to raise awareness of mesothelioma, a cancer caused by asbestos that affects thousands of people in the UK, and to raise funds for this great charity.
Lorraine Creech and Liz Darlison from Mesothelioma UK gave inspirational speeches talking about how the cancer affects families and reminding us of the women who have suffered from this disease and those who have campaigned to raise awareness of it so that much needed research can be funded.
Other supporters and families of those affected by mesothelioma attended and enjoyed the lunch and entertainment.
