2 Swan Lane,
Rapid economic growth in Africa is expected to lead to a doubling of energy demand by 2040. Clean and affordable renewable energy offers the potential for the continent to meet this demand while increasing energy access, creating jobs, bringing health benefits and delivering Africa nations’ contribution to the Paris Agreement on climate change. But these benefits will only be realised if public and private investments in renewables are massively scaled up from current levels.
Join Fieldfisher, Globeleq, Ricardo Energy & Environment and Verdant Frontier to hear more about the latest developments in the region including new projects, emerging technologies, and innovative new approaches to engaging private sector finance.
