On Friday 25 September, Fieldfisher will be launching the MoralDNA of Employee Owned Companies Report.

The report will be published by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and is authored by Professor Roger Steare of Cass Business School,Pavlos Stamboulides of Psycholate, Peter Neville Lewis of Principled Consulting andPatrick Woodman of the CMI. The report is sponsored by eaga Trust and supported by Fieldfisher and the CMI.

Interim findings published on 3 July 2015 (EO Day 2015) showed that employee owned companies are leading the way when it comes to ethics and performance, with more democratic management cultures, high levels of employee motivation and a longer-term approach to business decisions.

The final report is based on information from a survey of over 1,000 employees of employee-owned companies – managers and non-managers alike – using the MoralDNA™ diagnostic tool, and through interviews.  The report is unique in providing insights into companies owned through the employee trust model of ownership.

We expect the report to provide new positive and convincing evidence in favour of adopting the employee ownership business model.

There will be a presentation of the report's findings and a panel discussion. Participant companies will be at the launch to contribute to the discussion on the report's findings.
