Amy Rogers and Heather Emmerson from 11KBW will guide you through current trends in commercial judicial review and the use of public law litigation to protect commercial interests. They will bring you up to date on current ‘hot topics’ in substantive judicial review, on procedural issues including consultation and public law ‘fairness’, and on procedure and tactics in commercial judicial review.
Amy and Heather both act regularly in commercial judicial review claims in the Administrative Court and beyond. Amy is currently acting for the Iranian commercial bank Bank Mellat in its damages claim under the Human Rights Act 1998 arising from the Supreme Court decision in 2013 that the Treasury’s sanctions on the Bank were unlawful. Heather is regularly instructed to act for individuals, companies and regulatory bodies in judicial review proceedings and has experience across a range of industries including financial, legal and public services.
The seminar will begin promptly at 5.30pm and will finish by 6.30pm. Drinks and nibbles will be available throughout as well as after the seminar.
