Disciplinary investigations need to be instigated, often involving suspension, the police and/or particular regulators may need to be informed, and steps taken to recover the proceeds of the fraud, including potential court proceedings against the employee and others involved in the fraud, and in appropriate cases, obtaining a freezing order. Depending on the nature of the fraud, external investigators may need to be appointed to assist with tracing and recovering assets.

Targeted at senior HR professionals, compliance officers and senior managers, our half day seminar will provide you with an invaluable insight into tackling employee fraud. We will examine the most effective ways of handling employee fraud, involving investigation, disciplinary and dismissal procedures, asset recovery, and police involvement.

This seminar will combine expertise from partners in our Employment and Dispute Resolution teams, who will share their significant experience of handling employee fraud and recovering assets, together with a guest speaker from Control Risks, experienced in undertaking investigations into employee fraud.

Registration will be at 09.00, to commence at 09.30 and finish at 13.00, followed by lunch.
