One focus of my work is the drafting, reviewing and negotiation of complex IT contracts, cloud and SaaS models in particular. Due to my programming and IT skills, I am able to quickly understand clients' business models and speak a mutual "digital language" with them.
Furthermore, I have a lot of experience in advising on highly regulated areas such as legal tech, e-commerce and digital marketing. Together with my clients, I develop strategies for the compliant implementation of their digital business concepts. This includes advice on the Legal Services Act (RDG), compliance with consumer protection law requirements and unfair competition law.
I regularly represent my clients in proceedings both in and out of court, in particular with respect to interim injunction proceedings and cases with cross-national issues.
Aside from my work as a lawyer, I co-ordinate the training and development for Associates and trainees and organise the Fieldfisher Summer School for students.
I personally give lectures on topics such as productivity in the legal profession or the psychology of success.
I advise my clients in German and English.
