I have over 20 years' experience in the protection, development and exploitation of brands, products and services in a wide range of sectors.
I specialise in commercial law and am highly experienced in a broad range of commercial contracts, including franchising, agency, distribution, supply, terms of sale, intellectual property ownership and licensing, technology transfer, media, advertising and sponsorship arrangements, as well as in data protection and competition compliance matters.
As the commercial IP department's dedicated professional support lawyer, I am responsible for keeping the department up to date with changes in the law and practice, drafting and maintaining guidance and precedent documentation and assisting with client and external training programmes. I also provide high level technical legal support to the department.
Over the years, I spoken widely of various aspects of contract law and have contributed to many national and international publications, including PLC and the Encyclopaedia of Forms and Precedents.
In my spare time I can be found spending time with my family and friends, often over good food and wine.
