Based out of the firm’s Silicon Valley office in the U.S., my practice primarily focuses on providing tactical and strategic privacy and data protection advice to international technology companies.

I have experience advising a variety of tech firms, from fin-tech to cloud-based companies in privacy and data protection compliance, both from an American and European legal perspective. I have particular experience helping companies reach compliance within constraining timelines and with limited resources. I enjoy acting as a legal interpreter, distilling complex legal risks and strategies into relatable frameworks for clients.

Before joining Fieldfisher, I worked as a privacy and data protection consultant at Promontory Financial Group, an IBM Company, and at Aleada Consulting, a privacy-focused consultancy. Before my work in privacy and data protection, I worked for many years as an attorney in the field of human rights and immigration. I am fascinated by the human rights and data privacy compliance challenges facing governments and businesses, particularly technology companies with disruptive and innovative technologies.

In addition to advanced law degrees from the U.S. (Juris Doctor) and Europe (LL.M.), I hold a degree in philosophy. I am a member of the California State Bar, and a Certified Information Privacy Professional with concentrations in Europe (CIPP/E) and the U.S. (CIPP/US).
