During my time in the seat, I have worked on various disputes, ranging from high-value arbitrations to public inquiries before the Traffic Commissioner and Health and Safety Executive.

I have also had the opportunity to be involved in trial preparation for a series of high profile litigations; attending court on a number of occasions.

My experiences in a contentious seat have dovetailed usefully with my time working as a trainee in the Real Estate transactional team. As a transactional trainee solicitor, I undertook work spanning the whole lifecycle of a property, with a particular focus on developments and commercial leases. I also regularly came in to contact with planning related work and worked on a number deals with a property finance element.

I have a keen interest in contentious work and in particular disputes with a public dimension. In the future, I would like to be involved in regulatory work. On the flip side to this, previous work experience has given me an interest in working in house at a commercial firm sometime in the future. I believe this would give me a great insight into what it would be like to work for hand in glove with clients, understanding their business and market.

For my undergraduate degree, I attended the London School of Economics and was a keen member of the university's law society, taking part in a number of charitable initiatives (i.e. Royal British Legion poppy collection).

Outside of work, I enjoy watching and playing everything sport. I have a particular interest in cricket, golf, and rugby, having represented my county in all three of them. I love travelling and aspire to visit the Far East over the next year or so.
