I advise my clients on all aspects of German and European antitrust law as well as on issues of foreign investment control.
Antitrust law advice includes in particular merger control notifications to the German Federal Cartel Office as well as to the European Commission, advice in antitrust fine and abuse proceedings as well as antitrust damages actions. In addition, I advise clients on distribution antitrust issues and on issues relating to horizontal cooperation agreements, such as research and development agreements.
In the area of foreign investment control, I advise clients on both the acquisition and sale of businesses. I advise our clients on all questions related to the best structure of the transaction, the examination of existing reporting obligations, the notification to and communication with the competent authority, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action and the contractual hedging of risks.
I studied law at the University of Bayreuth with a focus on intellectual property and competition law. After graduating in 2015 I obtained an LL.M. in International Commercial and Competition Law from the University of East Anglia in Norwich.
During my legal clerkship I worked as a trainee at the European Commission, Directorate General for Competition and at Metro AG in the field of antitrust law.
I advise my clients in German and English.
