I have gained over twenty-five years of experience in consultancy on Indirect Taxes such as domestic and international VAT, customs and excise matters, registration/mortgage and land registry taxes and stamp duty.
My clients are multinational companies operating in various sectors - industrial, retail, utilities, financial and insurance - and I mainly assist companies in the activities of the drafting of planning projects of flows in order to optimise tax impacts, preparing opinions, drafting and submitting ruling requests and rebate applications for the recovery of VAT credits, drafting voluntary disclosure procedures and registration for VAT purposes of foreign companies, compliance and everyday operational matters.
I also deal with tax aspects related to e-billing processes and electronic storage in accordance with the law on tax documents.
I publish articles on VAT in specialist journals. I am the co-author of various books and I am speaker at internal courses, conventions and as a lecturer on a Tax Law Master's course.
Before joining Fieldfisher I was a partner at major law and tax firms associated with one of the “Big Four” firm, as well as Head of the Indirect Taxes sector at the Tax Services Department of one of the major US IT companies.
I am admitted to the Bar Association and am enrolled on the Register of Accounts Auditors.
I spend my free time with my children. I also enjoy playing sports (running and swimming) and reading.
I advise my clients in Italian and English.
