My practice includes advice on work based visas, assisting businesses to acquire and maintain sponsor licences, advice on prevention of illegal working and global mobility support. In the personal sphere, I help individuals to obtain work and family based visas and eventually naturalise as British Citizens. I have a particularly strong expertise with complex applications for registering children as British, from my voluntary work with the charity The Project for the Registration of Children as British Citizens.

Prior to joining Fieldfisher, I was part of the senior management team of a large immigration practice at a multinational law firm. Whilst in my previous role, I was involved with a number of complex sponsor licence issues involving the merger and sale of different entities and helped secure a sponsor licence for an eminent public body. I also supported a major multinational with strategic legal advice to help them successfully negotiate Brexit and the end of free movement.

I have a wealth of expertise in training HR and legal audiences on immigration areas and speak regularly at conferences and seminars. I am a member of the Law Society's Immigration Committee and am often involved in stakeholder engagement with the Home Office.
