My expertise includes drafting and negotiating a broad range of agreements in the life sciences, media and hotels and leisure sectors. I also represent my clients in administrative proceedings and before the respective courts.
I have most recently advised a US technology company in a case relating to an alleged patent infringement arising from specific features provided by an app. I have also represented a UK-based strategic investor in the healthcare sector in relation to an asset deal for the purchase of shares of a patent from an insolvent biotech company and in relation to the drafting and negotiating of a comprehensive license agreement with a public research institution.
I have spoken widely, including as a lecturer on the unitary patent and the Unified Patent Court at an LES Chapter event in Palo Alto (USA) and on healthcare compliance at a Management Circle seminar in Cologne (Germany). Furthermore, I have also written many articles on different legal topics and I am a regular contributor to a blog on healthcare marketing under German and European law.
I am fluent in German and English and have an advanced knowledge of French.
In my spare time I like to improve my endurance by running and I enjoy spending with my family and friends.
