I am a UK and US-qualified corporate lawyer with 20 years' experience and mainly advise tech companies through corporate and commercial transactions.

I have particular expertise in private company M&A, investments, commercial partnerships and cross-border corporate transactions.

From my time in-house with online gaming company Miniclip, I developed expertise in many kinds of commercial agreements in the digital games, media, advertising and entertainment sectors. I also completed a number of acquisitions in-house including 8 Ball Pool, and Testaluna Studios. As a director, I was in the deal team that planned and executed the successful sale of Miniclip to Chinese multinational, Tencent.

I combine the technical expertise of an external adviser with the commercial understanding of an in-house lawyer and director of a rapidly expanding company.

I have a broad legal knowledge from my UK and US qualifications, particularly in contract law. I am a transactional lawyer at heart, always focused on execution and delivery within the client's time scale and budget.

I am a regular speaker at games company conferences around the world, such as the Pocket Gamer series and the Game Developers Conference (GDC). I am pleased to be on the advisory panel for the Pocket Gamer Connects conference in London.

I am also involved in the Arts and sit on the advisory councils for the Tate Members, the Tate Britain and the Tate Digital Committee. I recently retired from the British Museum Members' advisory committee, where I was Vice Chairman.
