I act for clients on commercial matters in English High Court proceedings, international arbitrations and in support of legal proceedings in foreign jurisdictions.
As well as assisting various clients in the UK, my practice has a strong international dimension and includes a focus on the Middle East and acting for corporate and private clients from and/or on cases with a connection to the region.
I have also acted for a number of clients from Russia and the CIS as well as the Far East.
My expertise is in contractual disputes, particularly post M&A/SPA disputes, misrepresentation claims, breach of warranty claims, guarantee claims, banking and financial disputes.
I have litigated a number of high value and/or complex professional negligence claims relating to breaches of duties in tort and/or contract for corporates as well as high net worth individuals.
I have considerable experience of navigating complex issues in fraud claims and have acted on a number of high value cases including: fraudulent misrepresentation claims, dishonest assistance and unlawful means conspiracy claims, Missing Trader Intra-Community fraud claims and high value fraudulent trust claims.
Where necessary, I have also obtained various forms of injunctive relief for clients, including freezing orders and injunctions restraining unlawful conduct related to confidential information and the enforcement of restrictive covenants. I regularly advise businesses and senior executives in relation to unlawful competitive activity through the misuse of confidential information and/or breaches of post-termination covenants.
I am an Arabic speaker and registered to practise in the Courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre.
