My experience ranges from negotiating Data Processing Addenda to drafting International Data Transfer Agreements to advising on new product implementation.  On a daily basis I explained the new European rules to US clients in an understandable way.  The nature of Silicon Valley means advice has to be concise, risk-based and delivered quickly.  I continue to advise US clients and now bring that insight back to our London team.
I trained at Fieldfisher from 2014-16.  Before joining the Privacy, Security and Information team, I spent seats in our Clinical Negligence, EU Regulatory (based in Brussels) and Financial Services departments.  This built on my five years’ legal experience prior to joining Fieldfisher in a variety of public sector, City firm and in-house roles.
I have published articles in the Association of Corporate Counsel online magazine, Privacy & Data Protection Journal and Bloomberg BNA and I continue to blog regularly.  I present at internal and external events, including the annual Fieldfisher Privacy Summit and leading the inaugural International Association of Privacy Professionals session in Salt Lake City.
I am actively involved in the firm’s CSR and social aspects, and was named CSR NQ/Solicitor of the Year 2016/17.
I have travelled extensively and worked in six countries.  I speak French and Japanese to conversational level.
In my spare time I enjoy cinema, running marathons and practicing yoga
