Paris partner Marily Paralika participated in the Mauritius Arbitration Week 2019

Marily Paralika, International Arbitration partner, moderated a panel discussion during the Mauritius Arbitration Week 2019 organised by the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) and the MCCI Arbitration and Mediation Center (MARC) from 10 to 14 June.

The panel discussion focused on aspects of efficiency, stability and neutrality in the arbitration landscape in Mauritius. 

Marily Paralika moderated this session alongside Duncan Bagshaw (MARC Advisory Board, Partner, Howard Kennedy LLP London), Anne-Sophie Jullienne (Managing Partner, PwC Legal, Mauritius), Hervé Duval (Senior Counsel, Ahnee Duval Law Firm, Mauritius), Cheng-Yee Khong (MARC Court, Associate Investment Manager, IMF Bentham, Hong Kong), and Ms Ah Foon Chui Yew Cheong (Former Judge, Supreme Court of Mauritius, Chairperson, Board of Judicial and Legal Studies, Mauritius).

Marily also moderated a panel discussion organised by MARC and ArbitralWomen during the Mauritius Arbitration Week on diversity in international arbitration, together with Cheng-Yee Khong (MARC Court, Associate Investment Manager, IMF Bentham, Hong Kong), Elodie Dulac (Partner, King & Spalding, Singapore), Aisha Abdallah (Partner, Anjarwalla & Khanna, Kenya), Sebastian La Hausse de Lalouvière (Group Legal Counsel, Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels).
