Fieldfisher managing partner, Michael Chissick, has been shortlisted for the Management Partner of the Year award at the Legal Business Awards.
The awards will be revealed at a ceremony hosted by Nick Robinson tonight.
The independent judging panel will choose a winner based on outstanding strategic thinking, superb communication skills and the extent to which individuals have the support of their peers, partners, staff and clients in driving the firm's business forward.
Michael's shortlisting follows on from a year of continued growth for the firm: results for the first half of 2015/2016 saw global revenue increase to £58.4m (compared to £54.3m for the same period the year before), while the full-year results for FY 2014/2015 saw a 9% rise in revenues (to £113m). Lateral growth has seen several new partners join across the firm, with a three partner intellectual property team from Rouse set to join at the beginning of next month.
Michael, who was re-elected for a second term as managing partner in December last year, said: "It's always flattering to be shortlisted for industry awards and I feel this is recognition not just for me but for the firm. We've had a successful year across the board, from dispute resolution, to real estate to PRG, and I can only thank my colleagues for their hard work."
