Inquest into death of new mother after staff 'ignored pleas of husband'

Mark Bowman, Partner at specialist medical negligence law firm Fieldfisher, has been representing Adam Mager, at the inquest into the death of his late wife, Diana Mager.

Mark Bowman has issued the following statement on behalf of his client:

"My client is deeply saddened by the death of his wife. He has lost a very special person in his life, and his daughter, Sofia, has lost her mother.

"My client has welcomed the opportunity to hear evidence as to how his wife was treated at Oxleas in the period prior to her death and is now commencing a civil claim in the High Court.

"My client asks that his, and his daughter's privacy is respected at this time."
