Fourth corporate partner joins Fieldfisher Brussels

European law firm Fieldfisher has hired Thomas Lenné as a partner in its Brussels office.

Thomas is a corporate specialist, advising Belgian and multinational companies, private equity funds, families and entrepreneurs. His work covers all areas of corporate law, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), buy-outs, private equity and venture capital transactions. He also advises on capital markets transactions, corporate restructurings and general corporate issues.

Thomas, who joins Fieldfisher from Baker McKenzie – where he trained and qualified – has 11 years of experience across numerous sectors, including private equity, construction, aviation, banking, energy, IT, telecom and media.

Claudio Mereu and Stijn Debaene, co-managing partners of Fieldfisher's Brussels office, said: "Thomas is the fourth partner within the corporate team of the Brussels office. We're proud that our firm has been able to recruit a top talent like Thomas and are absolutely convinced that his arrival will further expand the sustained growth of our Belgian practice."

Thomas Lenné said: "I am very pleased to be joining Fieldfisher. As a firm it has a very strong reputation and, as we've seen over the last few months, its European footprint is continuing to grow. Furthermore, its Brussels office houses the full range of highly qualified Belgian specialists that are needed for my practice."

Fieldfisher's Brussels office is full service, with specialists in the major practice areas of Belgian business law: corporate, employment and pensions, tax, commercial contracts, dispute resolution, intellectual property, technology, outsourcing and privacy, competition and (EU) regulatory.
