Fieldfisher promotes nine to the partnership

European law firm Fieldfisher has made up nine partners in the latest round of partner promotions. This is the largest number of partner promotions for the firm in a single round since 2010.

European law firm Fieldfisher has made up nine partners in the latest round of partner promotions. This is the largest number of partner promotions for the firm in a single round since 2010.

The new partners are:

  • Mikhail Basisty - Corporate

Mikhail advises entrepreneurs and businesses from the CIS region, particularly Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine.

  • Gordon Drakes – Commercial Intellectual Property

Gordon specialises in franchising and multi-channel distribution, with a strong emphasis on international expansion

  • Louise Elmes - Real Estate

Louise specialises in contentious construction, energy and maritime work, advising clients both domestically and internationally. Louise was made up earlier in the year.

  • Tom Guida - Commercial Intellectual Property

Tom's practice focuses on digital and traditional entertainment. He acts for production companies, studios, advertising agencies, publishers and games and app developers.

  • Aymen Khoury - Dispute Resolution

Aymen's practice centres around contractual disputes, including misrepresentation claims and disputes relating to guarantees and share purchase agreements.

  • Olivier Proust – Privacy

Based in our Brussels office, Olivier specialises in privacy, data protection and data security for companies of all sizes and across several sectors.

  • Andrew Sanderson – Dispute Resolution

Andrew's specialism is the transport sector with a focus on road transport matters. He advises clients in relation to anti-bribery and corruption, fraud and regulatory compliance.

  • James Seadon - Intellectual Property & Technology, Protection and Enforcement

James specialises in resolving disputes concerning IP and technology law, particularly where those disciplines intersect in the technology, media and telecoms sector

  • Penny Wotton - Private Client

Penny advises HNW individuals, entrepreneurs, professionals, business men and women. She is an expert in UK and non-UK resident trusts and international estate planning and structuring.

The promotions are effective from 1st May 2017.

In addition, three lawyers in the firm's Hamburg office; Alexander Martins Kuenzel, Matthias Berger and Stephan Zimprich, were made up to the partnership in November 2016.
