Fieldfisher Payments partner speaking at European Payments Regulation conference

Payments partner John Worthy will be speaking at the European Payments Regulation conference on 1-2 December 2015 in London. He is a member of the panel debating the vital issue of "How PSD II and open access to accounts could transform the payments industry. What does it mean for banks, card providers, merchants and consumers?". Other panelists include speakers from Deutsche Bank, VISA and the British Retail Consortium.
The conference will be a focus for some of the major issues facing the payments world, from the forthcoming adoption of PSD II, the emerging opportunities and challenges of digital payments and new entrants, the implications of recent developments in data privacy and the potential for the blockchain and other new initiatives.
Others conference speakers include representatives from the European Commission, the ECB, the European Banking Authority, SWIFT, MasterCard, Citi and Ripple Labs.
