The Birmingham office of Fieldfisher has moved to new open plan premises

The Birmingham office of European law firm Fieldfisher has moved premises and is now located at Aspen House on the Blythe Valley Park. Although based on the same business park, the new space offers a range of benefits, including the full integration of the office into Fieldfisher's systems since the merger of Fieldfisher with Hill Hofstetter last November.

The new offices will be open plan - a first for the Birmingham team.  It also has a dedicated event space allowing the firm to host a range of seminars and client engagement activities.

Furthermore, the move marks the incorporation of the office into all of Fieldfisher's systems from IT to HR. This is in advance of the roll out of the firm's new technology platform LexisOne, due to be rolled out in summer 2017.  LexisOne is a cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) technology platform which combines HR and a range of finance-related systems such as expense management and time recording with other internal data such as procurement and matter planning.

Chris Hill, Fieldfisher’s managing partner in Birmingham says: “Our new premises reflect our culture as a modern, flexible law firm.  Fieldfisher has been open plan in London and Manchester for several years - the new layout not only maximises the use of space, but further encourages collaboration amongst our sectors and practice groups.

"Access to the full Fieldfisher systems and technology will also increase efficiency and flexibility.  This is not only beneficial from a productivity and employee engagement perspective, but these benefits can also be passed onto our clients. ”
