Fieldfisher commercial crime senior associate William Glover has been re-elected as Co-Chair of the London Irish Lawyers Association (LILA), an influential professional network with a membership spanning the London legal community.
As Co-Chair, William oversees the running of the organisation and leadership of LILA's committee, of which he has been a member for the past eight years, making him its longest serving member.
In that time, William has assisted in the organisation of LILA social events, educational programmes and sponsorship opportunities. Over the last few years, the organisation has attracted a number of significant speakers, including former Uachtarán na hÉireann (President of Ireland) Mary Robinson.
LILA, which has an expanding membership of more than 800 members, exists as an organisation for lawyers based in London with an affinity to the island of Ireland in an apolitical and non-denominational context.
LILA is free to join and its annual calendar of events is arranged by a dedicated committee of elected volunteer members. All events and running costs are met through sponsorship from LILA's partners including leading law firms and service providers.
William joined Fieldfisher in December 2021 from the self-employed criminal bar as part of the firm's new commercial crime team led by Quinton Newcomb.
Commenting on his re-election, Will said:
