Fieldfisher LLP is pleased to announce that Clare Padley has been appointed as a Deputy High Court Judge. Her appointment will be for a six year term, effective 1st October 2021.
The appointment followed an open competition run by the Judicial Appointments Commission. Clare will hear cases in the Queen's Bench Division. The role of Deputy High Court Judge is reserved for those who have the experience and expertise to deal with complex cases which would otherwise be undertaken by High Court Judges.Clare will sit in the High Court for a minimum of 30 days a year and will continue to practise as a member of the regulatory team at Fieldfisher.
