Fieldfisher is delighted to have assisted The Childhood Trust with preparing a fundraising agreement with another notable charity, The Big Give, for online match funding. The Big Give provides an online match fundraising platform where they fund projects for specific causes and The Childhood Trust provides support to vulnerable and disadvantaged children across London to alleviate the impact of poverty. Having previously collaborated on match funding since 2013 and with the fundraising agreement in place, The Big Give and The Childhood Trust hope to further encourage more funders to use this match funding platform to raise awareness and achieve a greater impact.
The team comprised Jayne Backett (Partner) and Connie Chau (Paralegal) from the Financial Markets and Practice who prepared the agreement and Antonis Patrikios (Partner) and Alexander de Gaye (Privacy Advisor) assisting on the privacy and data aspects of the agreement.
The fundraising agreement was signed by Sir Alec Reed CBE, The Big Give's founder, philanthropist and businessman, and the founder and chair of The Childhood Trust Grant Gordon.
