Fieldfisher is pleased to announce that Elena Tzialli has been appointed to its private client team in London.
Elena will join the firm on 15 March 2022 from Fletcher Day, where she was a partner and Head of the Private Client practice.
Elena specialises in working with high net worth individuals, celebrities and other types of private client based in the UK and has a strong track record working with Greek Cypriot clients.
Her areas of expertise include wills and inheritance tax planning; contentious and non-contentious probate matters; onshore and offshore tax planning and wealth preservation; lasting powers of attorney and court of protection matters; trust creation, administration and termination; the running of family investment companies; and assisting with the preparation and submission of tax returns.
Elena is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and has attended STEP conferences around the world. She has also written for a number of publications, including the Financial Times, on topics such as estate planning, property and inheritance tax.
She is a fluent Greek speaker and has twice been nominated for the Law Society's Excellence Awards in the field of private client work.
Fieldfisher's private client team, led by Peter Golden who joined Fieldfisher from Linklaters in 2019, has established a leading reputation for its expertise in wills and trusts, family offices and private banks, as well as assisting international ultra-high net worth individuals and families, with a particular focus on the Middle East, Far East and other overseas regions.
The team was recognised by Chambers and Partners' High Net Worth guide for the first time in 2021.
